Dirt! May 5th 2010

Thank you Azul and Nicola for last night's hosting of the film Dirt! It was a great evening.I learnt a lot, especially learning about what soil is made up of, so much air, and how we literally need to tread lightly on the earth as the earth is so light. The film was devastating in some parts, seeing the devastation to farming in India.

It was brilliant to smell, taste and feel the soil. Soil tasting...takes wine tasting to another level!!

Nice note from Joyce after the 'Farm of the Future ' Showing 3rd March 2010

For the first time I managed to get along to the Green on the Screen monthly event at Moors Bar in Crouch End. Large number there (over 40 people) all ages, all interests, plenty of newcomers, good
food and drink, very friendly. They showed an inspiring film called "Farm for
the Future" made by Rebecca Hosking (which other groups should arrange to show)
followed by well organised but informal group discussion. Thanks to Azul and
Andrew.
